Rain rAiN RaIn raIn RAIN!

When was the last time u wake up to raindrops splattering ur windows and go to bed with raindrops dancing to a lullaby?

Very Very Very Long Ago.

When the rainy season always falls at the end of the yr, when nobody (except the contractor) noes abt the golden tap, when tsunamis/katrinas/wat nots are not in existence.

Lucky that I did not have any plans yesterday other than to sleep my day away and build my MG Freedom (yah ANOTHER one!). Lucky that I am not crazy to go chasing after 3 girls of my age. Lucky that Vampire 3 had its ending yest and that I did not grow roots from my ass from all the sitting in bed with eyes glued to tv and the Freedom manual.

The whole day rain thru'out Singapore was kinda fun (Wonders y ppl always link rain to depressing?). Had my windows opened to welcome the cool breeze that the wind brought in occasionally and of cos not without some sprinkler effect. Snuggled in bed under the blankets for the whole day to keep my legs warm and prevent it from getting stiff but it still got stiff from sitting in a position too long (Damn I sound so old).

Caught the Ren Ci show on tv and was disgusted by the way the artistes behave (or was told to behave). The obvious speeches they made were either targetting at the NKF saga or Jacelyn Tay's statement AND the irritating Guo Liang keep urging for donations when the call toll is not up to standard and at the end of the show when they revealed the total monetary tally, its actually better than last year's show. This shows that people are donating more through the other line which is not tallied in the phone toll and not thru the hotline.

Cant they jus show the monetary tally, regardless of call toll or sms toll or large amount donations?

The only event that moved me was by Venerable Ming Yi. Made a call while I was thinking, hey if he cant do the 2nd stunt due to safety reasons, why not walk back the 1st stunt? It'll surely garner more calls!

Meanwhile this has got to be the charity show with the most failures. Rayson and Liping failed by a hair's breadth, Venerable Ming Yi couldnt perform due to safety reasons, Zoe the queen failed 2 out of 4 stages.

And of cos, having overseas artistes like S.H.E/Alan/ShiJia to perform is a bit out of the topic. All they do is PROMOTE their latest albums, although Alan's song is quite ok for the show but what has not wanting to grow up to do with charity? Plus their fans are mainly students without much pocket money to spare (or that they had already spent it on booking cabs to chase their idols ard). David Tao's songs are much more meaningful for the cause.

Gah! Its raining again. Jus did my appraisal. Phew! No worries, not a word abt my 9.30am reach office. Mwahhahha..
